We buy our USDA Choice beef from Nebraska to get the great taste of Midwest beef and have it processed close to the ranches to secure the freshness and quality. All beef is raised by small family ranchers that have generations of expertise and pride in their work. Our relationship allows us to have the best consistent quality that we can find in beef.
American Wagyu is raised exclusively for us by Fort Klamath Ranch, just 250 miles north of us in Oregon. They maintain very strict genetics and processes to deliver us the best beef in America. The breed is naturally well marbled, and the ranch has perfected the raising of this breed and handles their herd from birth to processing.
Our pork is Heritage Berkshire and sustainably raised, antibiotic free and vegetarian fed. Similar to the beef, it is raised on family farms that care about the earth and their herds. The Heritage breed gives us great flavor and consistency, while the farming practices ensure that we deliver a tasty AND healthy experience to you.
Lamb cuts at Butcher Boy are locally supplied by Superior Farms in northern California in Northern Nevada. The high-quality sheep are raised on pastures where they can graze freely. We buy them whole to have every cut you desire.
Most of our poultry is raised in California by Mary’s Chicken, well known for humanely raised poultry. Air-chilled instead of soaked in water, which produces a much better taste and texture than many other brands. We buy and sell it as fresh as possible so you can be sure that you are treating your family to the best.
